BS6 emission norms have been implemented in the country since April 1, 2020. Many vehicles were discontinued after the new rule came into force, most of them diesel vehicles. Most automobile companies stopped working on diesel engines. However, this does not mean that diesel trains will have to be compromised. In the era of BS6 engine, many companies are introducing diesel variants. Here is a list of 5 cheap diesel-automatic vehicles that are currently available for sale in the Indian market.

1. Kia Sonnet Kia Sonnet
has a 1.5 liter diesel engine available, which generates 100PS of power and 240Nm of torque with a 6-speed manual transmission. The engine generates 115PS of power and 250Nm of torque with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The diesel automatic variant of the Sonnet is priced between Rs 10.59 lakh and Rs 13.19 lakh. 2. Mahindra XUV300 The
Mahindra XUV300 is currently available with the most powerful diesel engine in the sub-4m SUV segment. Its 1.5 liter 4 cylinder engine generates 117PS of power and 300Nm of torque. 3. Tata Nexon Tata Nexon's

4. Hyundai Creta
Hyundai Creta is one of the best selling SUVs in India. The company claims that 60% of Creta's buyers are opting for the diesel variant. The Creta is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 115PS of power and 250Nm of torque. 5. Kia Celtos
Celtos was launched as the first Kia car in India. The Celtos uses the same 1.5-liter diesel engine as the Creta, presented with the same 6-speed manual transmission and 6-speed automatic.
