Date of Amarnath Yatra announced: Darshan of Barfani Baba will be held from 28th June to 22nd August, this time devotees will be able to go to the holy cave only from Baltal route.



Snow Shivling is naturally formed in Amarnath cave. Devotees from all over the world come here to pay homage.

Last year, there was a resounding yes-no to whether to travel to the Raj Bhavan in Jammu till April 22.

There is good news for the devotees of Baba Barfani. Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board has announced the dates of the pilgrimage.

This time the Amarnath Yatra will start from June 28 and end on August 22. The board made the decision at a meeting on Saturday. According to sources, this time it has been decided to travel only from Balatal route. The traditional route of pilgrimage is through Pahalgam, Chandanwadi, Sheshnag, Panchtarani.








It has been decided to use only the Balatal route this year to reach the Amarnath cave. There is currently no information on travel from other traditional routes

Shri Amarnath Shrine Board Chairman and Lt Governor Manoj Sinha held a meeting of the board members at Raj Bhavan on Saturday. In which many necessary issues were discussed along with the travel schedule. The Covid Protocol will be strictly adhered to during the voyage as Coro’s transition is seen again in many states.





In Jammu, a meeting of the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board was held under the chairmanship of Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha, in which a decision was taken on the dates of the pilgrimage.

Yatra was canceled due to
Corona last year. Following Corona, there was a lot of confusion regarding Amarnath Yatra last year. There was a yes-no-no to the Raj Bhavan in Jammu whether to travel till April 22 or not. Earlier, Raj Bhavan was informed to postpone the Amarnath Yatra, but later canceled it by releasing a press release. An hour later, a press release said that it was not possible to travel on a fixed date due to Corona. However, a decision on whether to travel would be taken later. In view of the situation, the trip was canceled.
