Corona cases and deaths are on the rise in Saurashtra and Gujarat, including Rajkot, in the second wave of Corona. Along with this the demand for remedicivir injections has also increased significantly as the transition to the second wave has increased. The main reason behind this is believed by the doctors to be their own strain changed by the virus.

The second wave of corona is currently affecting people between the ages of 30 and 50-55. So that the demand for remedivir injection has increased and a shortage has arisen. A 21-day lockdown is currently needed to break Corona's chain. The IMA has also made representations to the government in this regard.

. Praful Kamani had a special conversation with Divyabhaskar. In it, he said, another wave of corona is currently underway. In young people i.e. from 30 to 50-55 years of age people are getting infected, compared to other injections ramdavisivar is cheap and effective in treatment so its use has increased.

In view of the black market and shortage of injections, the government has decided to give injections at cost to the hospital treating the patients. However, patients and doctors were said to be upset.

The rapid death of a patient with a decrease in oxygen levels has
increased mortality as well as coronary artery disease during the second wave. In which the patient suffers from excessive distress in the lungs and the patient dies due to shortness of breath due to lack of oxygen.

This includes more patients aged 30 to 50-55 years. If oxygen is not available for treatment or if a ventilator is needed, an injection called Tosilijumed is given. Praful Kamani said. However these injections are being used only after the patient reaches a very serious condition as they are very expensive in cost.

It would not be a surprise if a situation like Wuhan arises in
Rajkot. Meetings with doctors are also conducted by the system from time to time. Former President of Rajkot IMA Dr. Atul Pandya said that at present the situation in Rajkot is very dire. Given the current situation, it is not surprising if a situation like Wuhan in China arises. Breaking the Corona chain is the first requirement and lockdown is being considered as the only option. Another 21-day lockdown has been demanded by the IMA in the government which may be decided after a meeting on Thursday.
