After a glorious victory in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee will be sworn in as the Chief Minister alone at 10:45 am on Wednesday. His cabinet will be sworn in on May 6 or 7. BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh have also been invited to the event.

Mamata will be sworn in at the Raj Bhavan's town hall. Mamata Banerjee will then go to the State Secretariat. Other TMC leaders, including Prashant Kishor, will also attend the event. In addition, former Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya, Viman Bose from the Left Front has also been invited to attend the swearing-in ceremony.

After the Congress Left, the TMC rule in
Bengal handed over power to the Congress for the 17th consecutive year from 1950, but they elected a Leftist in 1977 when political turmoil broke out in the state. Bengal then gave power to the Left in seven elections. The Left ruled with an absolute majority under the leadership of the CPM for 34 years.

At the end of the Left's term, Mamata's Trinamool came to power and she has been ruling Bengal for the last 10 years. This time too they have achieved an absolute majority.

Mamata Banerjee was elected leader of the party Legislative Union on May 3. After the meeting, Mamata said the swearing-in ceremony would be held as usual. They said they would not celebrate until the country won the fight against Corona. The TMC has won 214 seats in this election. On May 3, Mamata Banerjee had a meeting with the governor.

TMC has come to power once again after winning the May 2 elections in the wake of political violence . However, the result was followed by violent clashes between BJP and TMC activists in many areas. In which about 11 people were killed. The incident of theft and arson in BJP office and workers' shop also came to light.

Meanwhile, BJP president JP Nadda on Tuesday visited BJP workers who were victims of violence and expressed his opposition to the ongoing incidents in the state.
