After a glorious victory in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee will be sworn in as the Chief Minister alone at 10:45 am on Wednesday. His cabinet will be sworn in on May 6 or 7. BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh have also been invited to the event.

Mamata will be sworn in at the Raj Bhavan's town hall. Mamata Banerjee will then go to the State Secretariat. Other TMC leaders, including Prashant Kishor, will also attend the event. In addition, former Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya, Viman Bose from the Left Front has also been invited to attend the swearing-in ceremony.

Mamata Banerjee herself lost the election from Nandigram, but she is going to become CM of Bengal for the third time. However, Mamata Banerjee, 66, is likely to contest from another seat. Earlier, Mamata was sworn in as Chief Minister for the first time on May 20, 2011 and for the second time on May 27, 2016.



After the Congress Left, the TMC rule in
Bengal handed over power to the Congress for the 17th consecutive year from 1950, but they elected a Leftist in 1977 when political turmoil broke out in the state. Bengal then gave power to the Left in seven elections. The Left ruled with an absolute majority under the leadership of the CPM for 34 years.

At the end of the Left's term, Mamata's Trinamool came to power and she has been ruling Bengal for the last 10 years. This time too they have achieved an absolute majority.




Mamata Banerjee was elected leader of the party Legislative Union on May 3. After the meeting, Mamata said the swearing-in ceremony would be held as usual. They said they would not celebrate until the country won the fight against Corona. The TMC has won 214 seats in this election. On May 3, Mamata Banerjee had a meeting with the governor.

The
TMC has come to power once again after winning the May 2 elections in the wake of political violence . However, the result was followed by violent clashes between BJP and TMC activists in many areas. In which about 11 people were killed. The incident of theft and arson in BJP office and workers' shop also came to light.

The BJP reached the Supreme Court, the PM also expressed concern and the
BJP filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking the deployment of Centre's forces there to maintain the balance of the legal system in the state. It also demanded that the investigation into the violence be handed over to the CBI. Meanwhile, BJP president JP Nadda on Tuesday visited BJP workers who were victims of violence and expressed his opposition to the ongoing incidents in the state.

Prime Minister Modi also expressed concern over the legal system with Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar. There are also reports of 300 BJP workers and leaders migrating to Assam in the state. In the wake of all this, Mamata Banerjee seems to have come under political siege. However, he appealed to the people to maintain political peace and said that his activists had also been attacked.
