The Tamil Nadu government on Saturday extended the lockdown till May 31 after seeing a steady rise in positive cases of corona in the state. 2 lakh 22 thousand 704 people in the country tested positive for corona on Sunday. 





This figure is the lowest in the last 38 days. Earlier on April 15, 2.16 people tested positive for corona, while 4,452 people died in the last 24 hours. It is a matter of relief that 3 lakh 2 thousand 83 people have recovered.
