The T-20 World Cup could shift to the UAE for 3 reasons

With the IPL suspended, it is difficult to host the World Cup in India. BCCI selected 9 venues in India for this ICC tournament. ICC officials did not visit India in April because of Corona. The second wave of corona inside India was at its peak in April and May. Now a third wave is expected in the final phase of 2021. It is unlikely that India will host the IPL and T20 World Cup.

With the country suffering huge economic losses as a result of the Koro epidemic, the government is not in the mood to make concessions. In that case, the BCCI could shift the World Cup to the UAE.

In such a scenario, if BCCI hosts the T-20 World Cup in India, the players will have to travel frequently within the country. All of this is not possible amid the Corona epidemic. The bio-bubble protocol must also be followed. The BCCI World Cup is also set to take place in the UAE.
