Corona is now coming under control in Gujarat. Even in Ahmedabad, when the transition is now under control, there is hope among the people that the procession of Lord Jagannath will start on July 12 this year. Regarding the rathyatra today, Mahant Dilipdasji of Jagannath temple said that people feel that the rathyatra will start, but Home Minister Pradipsinh Jadeja said that the yatra would be held as per the prescribed protocol and the decision of the rathyatra would be taken after reviewing Corona's condition. Yesterday, Chief Minister Rupani said in a statement that a decision would be taken at the right time for the rath yatra.

The decision will be taken jointly by the state government and the temple trust.

Pradipsinh Jadeja will meet the trustees
and take a decision together with the state government and the temple trust to launch the 144th Rathyatra of Lord Jagannath. Home Minister Pradipsinh Jadeja, who arrived at the Jamalpur Jagannath Temple for a darshan, said after a meeting with the trustees, a decision on how to hold the rath yatra would be taken keeping in view the situation in Corona. Prior to the Rathyatra, the traditionally departed voyage will be conducted as per the guidelines of Corona. Mahant Dilipdasji of the temple said that all the people feel that the rath yatra should start and they should get the privilege of darshan. This year, the decision will be taken after discussions between the government and the temple trust. A small number of people will be sailed along with the guidelines of Corona.

Preparations were started from the temple and the
Chief Minister said that a decision would be taken at the right time to start the procession of Lord Jagannath. There are still prospects for a third wave of Corona. The situation is now under control, but a decision will be taken at the right time to take out the rathyatra. Police Commissioner Sanjay Srivastava on Wednesday held a video-conference discussion with top police officials and police inspectors on preparations for the rath yatra. All preparations have been started from the temple for the rathyatra.

What does the trustee of the temple say?
Mahendra Zai, trustee of Jamalpur Jagannath Temple Trust, said in a conversation with DivyaBhaskar that all preparations have been started for the rath yatra. State government approval is required. An application will be submitted to the Commissioner of Police for approval on Monday. The rathyatra will be taken out as per the permission of the police and the government. Rathyatra will be performed according to the tradition that has been held for years. All ceremonies will be completed in compliance with Corona’s guidelines.

Rath Yatra started all preparations have been taking

After the darshan, Sector 1 JCP Rajendra Asari, DCP Zone 3 Makrand Chauhan, ACP and PI Sajid Baloch had a discussion with Mahant Dilipdasji, Trustee Mahendra Jha of Jagannath Temple. After the video-conference of the Commissioner of Police, the JCP visited today and now all the preparations have been started for the rath yatra. The sailors also held a meeting today.

Last year, the rathyatra was held again in the temple premises.

All three chariots were worshiped at
Akhatri. The three chariots are traditionally worshiped before Lord Jagannathji's rathyatra in Ahmedabad. The chariot was worshiped by Mahant Dilipdasji, Trustee Mahendrabhai Jha and Minister of State for Home Pradipsinh Jadeja at the Jagannath Temple at Jamalpur around 9.30 am on the day of Akhatrij. The puja was performed in the presence of only a small number of people.

The 143rd Rathyatra was first held outside the temple premises.

Later it was finally decided to remove Lord Jagannathji's rathyatra in the temple premises. The chariot of Lord Jagannathji was taken to the gate of the temple after performing the ritual. The three chariots were then turned into the temple itself and placed for the darshan of the devotees.
