SOPs must be complied with, immediate action will be taken for violation of social distance

The state government has decided to make all government and private offices fully staffed with 100 per cent staff from next Monday, June 7, as the Koro transition in Gujarat is declining. All government offices will continue to operate on Saturday, June 5. In April, the government decided to keep all government and private offices staffed with 50 per cent staff and keep government offices closed on Saturdays and Sundays to prevent the spread of the second wave of corona.

Government-private offices have been staffed by 50 per cent for more than a month and a half, requiring compliance with Corona guidelines . From Monday, all offices will be fully staffed. However it will be mandatory to follow the guidelines of masks and social distance in the office. In this regard, the Gujarat High Court has ordered direct hearings in all lower courts across the state from June 7. Courts in the micro-containment zone will be able to run by video-conference.

The lawyers had sought financial assistance from the government
. The SOP set by the Gujarat High Court will have to be complied with during the proceedings of the court. Only one door can be started for entry-exit in each court premises. Having sanitizer in every court room, full adherence to social distance must be observed. Courto is being started 15 to 17 months after Corona. The practice of junior lawyers was badly affected during the lockdown. The lawyers had repeatedly demanded the resumption of the direct hearing in the High Court. The closure of the practice of thousands of lawyers prompted the government to seek financial assistance.
