The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has stopped the ongoing recruitment process for 5,858 vacancies in different banks. The application process has been running since July 12, but is currently closed. The Finance Ministry has stopped the recruitment process conducted by IBPS due to a language dispute. This problem will be restarted once the solution arrives.

What is controversy?
According to media reports, the exam will be conducted in two languages, Hindi and English, as per the notice issued for recruitment in place of Clark. Because of this many states have started protesting. Candidates demand that this exam should be conducted in other language also. The process has stalled as the language controversy escalates.
