Rain forecast for the next three days in the state

Heavy rains are forecast in the state for three days from tomorrow



The monsoon, which has been slowing down in Gujarat for the last few days, may now start from July 11. The meteorological department has forecast heavy rains in South and Central Gujarat from July 11 to 13. In the last 24 hours, 31 talukas in the state have received rains. In which Saurashtra and South Gujarat have received heavy rains. Farmers are overjoyed with the downpour in Amreli. On the other hand, due to universal rains in Valsad, now there are rumors that monsoon will be active in Gujarat again.

According to the meteorological department , light to moderate rains are expected in Ahmedabad, Anand, Kheda, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Daman on July 11, heavy to moderate in Narmada, Dang, Tapi, Surat, Bharuch on July 12 and light to moderate in Saurashtra-Kutch. Extremely heavy rainfall is expected in Anand, Valsad, Navsari, Surat, Bharuch, Daman and Bhavnagar on July 13, Dahod, Panchmahal, Botad and Amreli. Kutch received 12.62 per cent, North Gujarat 12.91 per cent, Central Gujarat 15.15 per cent, Saurashtra 12.55 per cent and South Gujarat 16.61 per cent rainfall. Gujarat has received 14.84 per cent rainfall so far.

So far in Gujarat, 4.90 inches of rain
has fallen in areas including Ahmedabad in the state. After good monsoon deployment, the rains have abruptly stopped and the amount of heat and blizzard has increased. The monsoon-laden state has received an average of 4.90 inches of rainfall so far during this monsoon season. The weather in the state will change from Sunday and the intensity of rains will also increase. The rain forecast is also good news for farmers.

The water situation in the reservoirs of the state is
still in the next 12-15 days if no system is created then the farmers are afraid of damage to the planted crops. In addition, the state has 39.10% water level in 207 reservoirs at present. In which Sardar Sarovar, the lifeline of the state, has 42.18% water storage.

Currently, there are only two reservoirs in the state which are fully filled. The relief is that, according to the meteorological department, light to moderate rains are likely in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Dahod and Panchmahal during the next five days.

Farmers breathed a sigh of relief when Megharaja knocked today after a long lull in Amreli district. Heavy rains lashed Khambha in the district today, while scattered rains lashed Lathi, Savarkundla and Rajulanagram areas. People were relieved by the heat as the cold spread in the atmosphere due to the rains. The crop received a lifeline. In Amreli, with good rains at the beginning of the monsoon, farmers sowed in most areas. But over the last few days, the farmers were confused as it was raining. Crisis was created on the plantations in the fields. However, with the rainy weather prevailing in the district today, farmers are now hoping for good rains.
